The chief export of Chuck Norris is pain.

http://www.chucknorrisfacts.com/

fucking right. i wondered why my mom always stayed awake for Walker, Texas Ranger.

besides chuck, crossroads just became my hero.

not the britney movie, fools.

look at the new schedule. i'm so thankful that an organization like crossroads exists.

honestly, i could care less about Proof unless it was the stage production.

BUT! BUT!

Capote (!!!)--if philip seymour hoffman does not win the oscardude for his portrayal of one FUCKED up icon, i will boycott the a.a.s for the rest of my natural life.

The Squid & the Whale (i think i peed myself!!)--new noah baumbach flick with a stellar cast. i have been waiting waiting waiting for this.

Bee Season (eh)--kabbalah, spelling bee, etc.

Everything is Illuminated --
i saw this in memphis on one of my solo journeys into midtown. elijah wood doesn't talk much (t.g.) and the cast are all eastern european unknowns. unbelievably depressing and enlightening portrait about post-Holocaust reaction and living.

the end.

peeing in the pool

"Because we have such a full plate of pressing issues before Congress, a filibuster at this time would be, in my view, very counterproductive," said Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-Louisiana, who wants the Senate to concentrate on Hurricane Katrina rebuilding programs.

cnn.com

fuckers. i hate cnn by the way. maybe i should rename this thing the hate blog.

does she think that it's NOT important to recognize the dissension among the Dems? putting a new Supreme Court Justice on the bench is one of the most important decisions a presidential administration might get to make.

in this case, it's this fool who gets to make those decisions (with a Congress full of super-conservative Republicans and dumbass Democrats):

rejoicing in the hands

so in case you missed the REALLY BIG NEWS yesterday, the UPN and the WB are shutting down.

there must be a god floating around in space somewhere.

also, they are forming a new network. at least it'll be just one super shitty network instead of two.

i wonder if i'll still get to watch "girlfriends" and "the world's smallest groom" and "one more reality show that makes my asshole pucker up and turn inside out version 4.2" on the new shit station.

p.s. i am foul. ask my boyfriend.

(the new IT kids--the arctic monkeys--are actually pretty great punk. think the jam...and buzzcocks. if you're into such music, feel free to email me for a track. i have a live show of theirs seeing as their album just dropped in the UK yesterday)

you have arrived

so i'm jumping on the blogger bandwagon. i do not plan to delete my livejournal, but i will post that this will be my new words home from now on.

hoo-rah.

so...come visit, put your feet up and relax.

so now i'll quit the room and let my thoughts rest.

p.s. i liked brokeback mountain, but it wasn't my favorite. also, didn't care for king kong.

i hate the film industry today.
